A heteronuclear 3D NMR technique, 3D-DEPT-TOCSY, is presented, that makes the recording of well resolved spectra possible in a short time without isotopic enrichment. The technique is especially good suited for heteronuclear carbon NMR spectroscopy. The trick of the method is the selection of CH2 groups by an inverse DEPT sequence to restrict the spectral width in two dimensions.
